The answer varies. I recommend asking your local planner in your city or county planning and building department. It’s your responsibility as the customer to check with your county if any permits are required. Note: You’ll need to place the order to receive 3 sets of plans. Be prepared to draw up a plot or site plan of your property with existing improvements and the proposed building location.

Yes, otherwise your building will be installed on land “AS IS.” I do not perform any ground work, so any necessary site preparation must be done before the installation date. If the land isn’t level, it will be up to you to fill in any gaps left in the bottom of the base rail. In most cases, however, the installers will not set up your unit, and a return fee will be added to your order if we have to come back once the site is level.

I’m not contracting to do concrete work at this time. I can install on a new concrete slab, ground, or asphalt. Any existing concrete must be substantial enough to hold anchors.

Deposits are only 10% down and are considered non-refundable after 3 business days. I already have time and costs invested, and the 10% deposit is considered for services rendered and for processing the order after 3 days.

I’ll need a signature on the contract, which shows the building size, any accessories, the color selection, your address, and contact number(s) for installation dates, along with a 10% down payment.

I accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, checks, and money orders.

When you order, you’ll receive a set of engineering drawings that show foundation options. The perimeter of the slab must have a minimum footing of 12” wide x 12” thick, or wider depending on the building’s size. In the center of the slab, the minimum required thickness is 4 inches. If you pour your concrete before placing an order, you may be asked to provide photographs of the forms and footings with steel in place and a tape measure showing depth before it’s poured—unless it was inspected.

My turnaround time for installation is typically 8 weeks from the order date. However, this can vary, and your order could arrive earlier. The 8-week timeline does not begin until I receive your 10% down payment, and in most cases, if you’re going through the permit process, it doesn’t start until your permit is approved. Weather conditions can also affect installation dates—if the weather isn’t suitable, expect some delays.
